Studying Architecture

PAC | Mauritius / Studying Architecture

The decision to study Architecture is one which must not be taken lightly.
It takes a total of 7 years to become a fully qualified Architect.
While it is an admirable profession it requires a large investment in not only time but money.

So far Mauritius does not have adequate resources to train Architects and as such studies in Architecture require an individual to study abroad.

If you are interested in studying Architecture it is important to carry out a lot of research before you make your decision.
It is very important that the University you choose to study at is recognised globally as well as in Mauritius.
The International Union of Architects (UIA) is a recognised global body for architecture which the PAC refers to when suggesting education to prospective students, if the University you are looking to study at is not listed here please do not consider it for tertiary education.

When considering education abroad it is important to factor in the cost of living as well as rent and university fees.

Some popular destinations to study abroad are;

-England
-Europe
-South Africa
-Australia
-India
-Malaysia
-Russia
